PHUKANA

If you’re looking for less of a thud-thud dance club, check out Phukana.  It’s a smaller, one floor bar, but it’s a fun and trendy place to go.  With a warm and stylish ambiance, Phukana offers a more sophisticated bar scene.  It has a smaller stage, but usually offers highly talented local bands to come and entertain the crowd.  Often doing covers of popular English songs (think a mix between punk, pop, and rock) the music is entertaining, but not so overwhelming that you can’t have a conversation.  Great for a smaller group, you can sit at the bar and enjoy the delicious cocktails or grab a table and chat.  Phukana is also an amazing place for private parties.
